Summary: This was perfect for our family of 4. We had an apartment with fridge and small kitchen- very handy. Take your own beach/pool towels though. The hotel was an easy walk to local restaurants, supermarket and beach. If you want club 18 to 30 type nightlife and bars then this isn't the location. You want Laganas about 2 miles away. We loved to eat at Koukla which had stunning views over the bay, you can use their garden sun loungers for free all day as long as you buy lunch. This is the case for most bars with a pool overlooking the beach. Food also fantastic at Koukla as was Apperitto which also overlooked the sea. We walked to Cameo Island from our hotel along the beach (look for man with his boat in the harbour feeding the fish and giant turtle most days) and hired a boat to see the turtle beaches and caves. We loved our holiday and hotel, the people and this island.
